The main areas of activity of the group are studies of biochemistry, microbiology, pathogenesis, and cell biology of fungal infectious diseases. We investigate mechanisms of unconventional secretion in fungi, aiming to elucidate the pathogenesis and biology of infectious diseases, as well as the interaction host-fungus.
